30 September 2025 at BMV, Berlin, Germany The first Annual Meeting of the Ghanaian-German Digital Dialogue will be hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS) and the Ghanaian Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations (MoCD). It will focus on current policy developments, discussions on data adequacy, and opportunities and challenges in the field of global business services.

MEXICO

11 November 2025, 18:10-19:00 (CST/UTC-6), Centro Banamex, Mexico City The Secretariat for the Mexican-German Digital Dialogue organises a panel discussion at the ITM about the role of 5G technology in industrial applications. Representatives from government, business, academia and civil society will discuss the opportunities and challenges of 5G adoption, share best practices from Germany and Mexico, and reflect on the implications of Mexico's new Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law.

Highlights from the International Digital Dialogues
BRAZIL

Stakeholders from civil society, businesses and academia as well as high-level government representatives gathered at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) in Brasília for the annual meeting of the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue. Every year, Germany and Brazil explore new avenues for collaboration and innovation in digital policy.

On 30 July 2025, the Ghanaian Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations (MOCDTI) and the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) convened a stakeholder consultation in Accra. In June 2025, the Kenyan Import Promotion Desk (IPD) hosted a delegation from the German Open-Source Business Alliance (OSBA) as part of the Kenyan-German Digital Dialogue. The visit marked a milestone in strengthening Kenyan-German collaboration in the open-source software space, spotlighting local innovation, digital talent and cross-border synergies.
